I have over 25 years SAS experience including

Azure, Data Lake and Databricks

More recently, I've been working with Azure. For over 2 years now. Analysing data from parquet, synapse, data and delta lake as well as plain text files.

Mainly through Databricks; Python and Spark SQL.

Front End

I've experience in
- PowerBi, hooked in to various data sources;
- Developing bespoke front ends in HTML5 to interface to production processes;
- Javascript, css and ajax

Other Programming

I started my career as an IBM Mainframe Assembler programmer. This means I understand how code interfaces with the processor. It also means I understand how most code works from a technical point of view, so can read it, understand it and use its logic and data structures:

Back End

The front end needs a back end to call.

I've developed web endpoints to use to hook in to the SAS data over REST and SOAP

And developed and depolyed kubernetes endpoints for data driven decision making from Azure.
